Newport Fuel Solutions products are refinery-grade concentrates – no “fillers”, no dilution, no compromise.

Onshore

The key to enhanced operational reliability and reduced maintenance costs is providing a refinery-grade fuel treatment package

Manufacturers of onshore emergency generator systems report that more than half the failures during critical emergency situations are the result of fuel that has degraded in storage – resulting in severely fouled fuel injection systems.

Centrally fueled fleet systems – mining, agriculture, emergency services and many more – are increasingly suffering excessive fuel filter use, engine deposits and increased back pressure from fuel quality issues.

A major contributing factor is poor fuel handling, blending and improper storage practices. A secondary culprit is the common use of 2-EHN cetane improver by refiners to upgrade the ignition quality of ultra-low sulfur (ULSD) fuels. Studies now show that use of 2-EHN compromises fuel stability.

The key to enhanced operational reliability and reduced maintenance costs is providing a refinery-grade fuel treatment package that enhances both thermal and physical stability while providing a safe synthetic lubricity package to ensure proper lubrication for high pressure fuel injection systems.
