Newport FOT MAX Dispersant/Stabilizer

The key to enhanced operational reliability and reduced maintenance costs is providing a refinery-grade fuel treatment package

NP-FOT MAX takes our classic NP-FOT and upgrades it with additional synthetic amines for
an even more powerful and economic solution to today’s modern marine fuel issues.

The new treatment rate is one liter per 40 metric tons – making FOT MAX the most economic and effective fuel treatment in the world today.

FOT MAX is formulated to completely mitigate all issues associated with the heavy asphaltene components of blended fuel oils. As a peptizing agent, FOT MAX slips between asphaltene micelles, gums, resins, waxes and contaminants, dispersing them evenly throughout the fuel blend. This chemical homogenization provides a more fluid, consistent mixture, resulting in uninterrupted injector spray patterns, contributing to better combustion and deposit inhibition.

The synthetic amine package in FOT MAX inhibits destabilizing chemical reactions that often occur when fuels are blended, as is the case with 2020 0.5 percent sulfur fuels.

Improved thermal stability with FOT MAX also greatly inhibits carbon deposit formation on
engine components during slow steaming operations – optimizing CO2 emissions reduction with no sacrifice in operational integrity.

FOT MAX contains 100 percent active, refinery grade components with a decades long history in the global refining industry – no cheap solvents – no cheap fillers.

Strength. Integrity. Value.

SOLUTIONS MANDATED BY CHANGE

Newport strength begins with three decades of experience in understanding the mechanisms within petroleum fuels that compromise the operational integrity of propulsion systems. The chemistry of fuel and the processes that produce them are ever changing – change that mandates innovative solutions.
